Hello,
I've been making scenery for D&D, and up until now I've been making outdoor scenes out of paper and will be doing dungeon and interior work using dental plaster (so far I've only got one dungeon room done, but I enjoyed it enough I know I'll be doing more of it...). I was looking at the graveyard project on this site and it got me interested in trying to make outdoor scenery using model railroad-type materials and techniques... I figure I should probably start simple and cheap and see how it goes, but I was wondering if anyone could point me to a book or other resource I might use to try out a first project. Model railroad resources look like a safe bet, but I don't care at all about the railroad aspects of things and I figured people on this forum would be able to appreciate that and probably know where to point me.
Thanks for any help in advance (and thanks for all the inspiration... I've been lurking for quite a while...)!
