I have the feeling that this is a very basic question and I'm making a fool of myself even asking it - but here goes nothing: I glued together a room yesterday, and to make sure the floor would be nice and flat I took the trouble of sanding the tiles down using my fancy new sanding machine. I was rewarded for my trouble by half of the tiles falling off the cork. Does sanding the tiles down make it more difficult for the glue (white wood glue) to bond to the tiles?
