have been wondering about something....and it deals with psi. Regarding PSI..I have just about used up 20 lbs of 2000 psi product from plaster-supply that I
purchased on ebay. when it came in and I mentioned it on the boards I quickly learned that 2000 was way on the low side. I thought perhaps I might send it
back, and talked to the folks and they were MORE than happy to replace or refund... good people I think.... I spent the weekend thinking it over and finally
told myself that this is nothing I have ever done before and why not just keep it and learn the basics...It was a good decision on my part... Now...as for the
subject of the 'need for strength'... Knowing NOTHING about war games, or serious applications such as that as it involves these buildings from Hirst
molds, is the desire for 12,000-15,000 psi because of the 'hard hitting' of war games?? the reason I ask is that to me, this product seems pretty good
for my purposes. 2 little boys just wanting to build castles and dungeons and such. They are pretty respectful for things of 'art' if that makes sense.
they are already talking about building a castle, putting it in one of dad's lighted roomboxes and turning it on as they go to sleep.... NOW, I say all
that because they have not seen the sci fi molds (or any for that matter). They are so into star wars.. So I would be interested in your thoughts on the
'need for strength'... is it a building factor? an ability for the buildings to last over times? please educate me. OH...sorry for rambling, but I
have to learn somewhere and june 27 is quickly approching.... what kind (if any) star wars miniatures exist in the scale for these molds (28mm?) . I
appreciate all the tips...this is certainly a friendly and helpful group.
