I've managed to get all of them basecoated with black for uniformity and have now begun the painting process. This is where I'm a bit hesitant as I'm somewhat color challenged. I see the colors just fine, I just have a hard time picking out things that go together well. I'm very interested in people's opinions of the color scheme I came up with. My goal was something a bit drab, maybe from an industrial planet that's seen it's share of conflict, so not a lot invested in colors (mono-chromatic to some degree).
Exploded view of some of the pieces.
Overall shot of the Henry Ford version (you can have any color game board you want, as long as it's black).
The (current) color scheme of choice.
Still needs a little touch up at the very least.
A paint in progress shot, trying out some bronze for the walkways next to the water.
The process of making this board led to the creation of a vibrating table (per Bruce's instructions, minor modifications added) and a foam cutting table (

I'll post more pics as I go along, and am happy to name the colors if anyone's interested.
Thanks for looking and providing feedback.
