It will be based on 3mm MDF. In time I will include it into a 300mm x 300mm (1 foot x 1 foot) terrain Tile for use in English Civil War wargames. Its one of the reasons that I included a paved court yard was so that musketeers could line the walls and defend the structure. Its a start and as I said earlier I learnt a lot. One thing that I did learn was the necessity to fill any gaps between blocks as noticeable gaps tend to ruin the effect of field stone builds, at least in my opinion.Another thing learnt was also the desirability to use an airbrush for the prime (1st ) coat of paint. I just struggled to cover all exposed white plaster, even after 3 re-coats. I guess the other answer would be to tint the plaster so any chips or missed bits wouldn't be so obvious.Since the post I've gone over the build and touched up the missed bits, I think it should be OK now! I also washed the slate roof with a green wash to represent the moss inevitably found on Slate roofs of any reasonable age. The jury's out and anything can always be improved on.CheersNeil W
