Again, as expected, not a lot of progress this past week.  Most of the outer walls of the 4th floor are glued together and spackled.  Should be a fairly achievable goal to get them painted this week.  The floor was also stained.  I'm still not happy with the Minwax water-based stain and may add some oil stain to some areas to give it a little more character.

Here is the view from the back of the building.  I plan on doing another center ridged roof to surround the conical roof.

I also built some more fireplaces to fill out the 4th floor.  From left to right:
1.  Dual corner fireplaces - this one will be above the single corner fireplace from the level below.
2.  Fireplace for the last remaining stone walled room on the 4th floor.
3.  Dual fireplace to go above the hot coal fireplace of the floor below.
4.  Fireplace of the stone walled room on the 3rd floor.

Should have more time this week to build.  There are lots of 'drying time' dependencies though so progress may be hampered a bit.  Two of the three 4th floor fireplaces are required to be finished sooner than later since the half-timbered walls are built around them.  I'm going to try a slightly different approach this time with the walls and completely attach the outer walls to the structure before attaching the inner walls to them.  It may be more difficult to spackle and paint the corners where the inner and outer walls join, but managing the large wall pieces had its own difficulties (breaking apart and such).

Anyway, here are the goals for the week:
1.  Paint and attach outer walls to the structure (including building the stair room walls)
2.  Carve and install 4th floor stair room and deck floor
3.  Build 3rd to 4th floor wooden stairs
4.  Cut all inner wall pieces including doorways
5.  Cut roof sections for this level (this may be a stretch depending on how easily the dormers work out)
