Leaded glass for the stone and shuttered for the half timber is an interesting idea indeed. I'll definitely keep that in mind.

I haven't used the stained glass beads. I imagine that would work well especially for churches. The gel that I have used in the past gives a decent look (in my opinion at least) and is easy to work with (no baking, easy to cut with exacto knife) so I'll probably use it again for this model. I do have a small church that has been sitting around 1/2 finished several years that might be a good candidate for the stained glass beads where their color could really be made use of.
