I heard rumor that Mudstone was going to be discontinued, but the thread that was in (different forum) was quite old and I was still able to find it. I have found that Michael's doesn't stock the full line of paints and they vary as to what they carry store by store. You might try a different Michael's if you happen to live near more than one. Hobby Lobby also carries Delta paints so you might try there as well. I don't recall having trouble finding Golden Brown, but I did only need one bottle of it and haven't been looking for it.

After hearing the rumor, I bought out the stock of Mudstone at the two Michael's near me just in case it was the last of the lot. A week later, they were fully restocked with what looked like new bottles of the stuff so I hope it is still in production. Now I've got about 12 2oz bottles of the color so I ought to be set for awhile. The Crescent Moon took about 3 bottles of Mudstone (including the base) and only a small portion of Golden Brown (since it is so diluted with Future it goes a long way).

Other colors should work - especially as a substitute for the Golden Brown - I just happen to like Mudstone because it has a great balance of gray, brown, and a touch of green.

The Foilage has been around for quite some time I believe. I use it on many of my buildings and made a tree out of it actually (which I don't recommend by the way - too expensive and a bit difficult to work with for this type of project): http://hirstarts.yuku.com...-Trees-.html#reply-41787
Works great for vines climbing rocks or buildings though and is very durable stuff.

I've often considered adding LEDs to a project - thanks for pointing those out. I'll have to make a trip to see if the store nearest me has any.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with on your large project!
