Sorry to intrude, skow. I'm trying to replicate your paint scheme, and have hit a few snags.
First one: my base coat isn't as dark as the label had hinted at.

Second coat went on OK. Was considering adding a terracotta-ish to give it a bit more colour.

Third coat was just the light dry brush.

Now the last step is where I began noticing real problems. I'm not sure whether it's because my base coat is a fair bit lighter than yours, 
or whether my wash is too dark. The darker piece is what resulted from me adding some spray matte varnish straight to my pot to see 
if I could dull the shine a bit. The whole mix turned darker in the pot, and was a lot thicker when applying. (I tried to use the recipe you mentioned)

Any suggestions, apart from finding a darker basecoat? I was trying to just use straight out of the tube colours so it was easier to recreate 
later if needed.
