Here is the first weekly update. 

I made a decision to make the 5th floor tower half-timber rather than stone and removing the roof-level section.  This will bring the conical roof down a bit and allow it to securely tie in with the main roof.  I put my order in for the Flat & Conical Slate Roof molds and they should be arriving sometime this week to allow casting to begin.

All of the stone walls on all floors have been painted with the base coat color.  I also applied the washes to the 1st floor, but somehow messed it up badly.  It looks like a calico cat exploded.  I believe I know what my mistakes were and will be re-applying the base coat and giving it another shot.  No photos have been taken of the floor in its current state...I'd rather forget all about it and move on. Embarassed

This week I hope to get all of the stone (properly) painted on all levels.  Assuming I can get back on track with the painting and successfully replicate how the basement level looks, there should be some time to stain the balsa floors and start attaching some foam board walls...
