Or, make a press mold of the originals using polymer clay. Then use the press mold.
Let me explain. No, that would take too long. Let me sum up.
Undercuts would be bad. You'd never get the clay out. But if you do have the right kind of pieces then you can make a press mold.
It's just what it sounds like. Coat the master in some talc to prevent sticking. Use polymer clay to make a mold (just like Bruce's modeling clay instructions). Bake the mold. If you can leave the original in that would be good but if it won't stand up to the heat GENTLY remove the mold before baking.
The press mold will hold up to having the clay mushed into it. I have more info if you're interesting in trying. PM me or if others want to know I can put more detail here.
