My Recent Posts
Well, I finished version 1 of my 'weeping' willow tree. It didn't turn out as I had expected and looks more like some kind of 'swamp' willow or something. Forming the trunk from Sculpey turned out to be easier than expected. It looks pretty decent in my opinion given it was my first sculpted tree - not that you can tell all that much since the dense foliage obscures most of it. If you look closely though, you can see the trio of mushrooms hiding under the thick canopy though.
What took the longest was getting all of that foliage to lay down properly. I was going to do a tutorial, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't follow any of the procedures that I went through so at best it would be a 'how NOT to make a willow'...
