Hi JB,
If you're referring to the yellow stuff, it's Elmer's Wood Filler (you can see a pic on page 3 of this thread). I'm really liking it as multi-purpose tool in my pile of terrain making goodies. It spreads like paste, adhere's to what you're working on, can be left craggy, shaped, sanded, painted, and has a nice working time (almost too much when in a hurry). I originally picked up the squeeze tube (page 3 again, about $3) as I needed it for finishing some crown molding in my house. Once I saw what I could do with it, I went back to the store and bought a larger tub (about $5).

PS: so far I've used Hirst Arts blocks, wood chips, Woodland Scenics Rocks (from rock molds), sand, and wood filler to create the basement "cave". The box itself is picture framing matte board.
