Sorry about the size of the pics. It's laziness on my part. I'm building a How-to for TerrainMonster (TM) and I'm resizing/cropping everything to 1280x960 and the TM site automatically
makes clickable thumbnails so what you're actually seeing is the result of the drilldown (the pics are hotlinked from TM). At least I didn't use the original size of image image

The IVY and the Ground Cover is exactly the same mix. It's just applied differently. For ground cover, I pour it on, shake it a bit, blow on it to make it collect in nooks and crannies
and then I use an eye dropper to drip thinned down white glue (pva, water and a drop of future). The mix soaks down through the stones and sets like concrete (you can get spray
bottle to speed things up but it will get everywhere). For the "vines" I use straight glue from the bottle. I make a few slime trails of glue and with the model rotated so the wall surface
is the "floor" I pour the stone mix directly on the floor until it's completely covered. I let it settle for a minute and them turn the whole thing upside down, rotate a new "floor" section
and repeat. First the outside walls, then the inside walls.

The stone mix is hard to explain. it's crushed stone that you can find at some construction stores. I've mixed in some play sand and I'm not kidding about dead bugs... I just keep a huge
open bucket in the garage so all the dust, sawdust, spiders, suicidal flys, etc. end up in there. I just scoop out a bunch to work with.
