1) I'd like to see both kinds of corner blocks actually (but I understand if they take up too much mold space). I've done a couple of projects with the Gothic octagon tower and seem to run about 50/50 on wanting the decorative corners. If I had to pick I would probably say do without the decorative corners on the octagon mold and put them on the "odds and ends" mold. I would definitely like to see a different kind of arrow slit.
2) I would definitely use the 60 degree splayed base piece. I could have definitely used it on my fieldstone keep project and I can think of 2 or 3 projects I'm going to be doing eventually.
3) Obviously I'm all for an 8" tower since I did my own custom one. I can see it being useful for large projects or towers with an interior. I can understand if you don't want to do it. It is a large project, but one definitely worth doing in my book. To be honest I'd like to see even bigger tower pieces up to 12" across. Yes they'd be huge if you actually built the tower but for things like building a colosseum they'd be worth it.
4) General ideas for other pieces
straight teeth piece (like is on the round towers)
ruined round tower pieces.
3" round fieldstone tower with onion roof
secret door blocks.
double doors (like is on mold #43) and/or an extra wide arch for wider doors.
