Synthethic Gypsum (or no.16).

The plaster I got from the shop above was just amazing. It act as metal, more or less. The cost is 16.5 pr. kilo. I think I have to add vat (+25%) on that, but still makes it quite cheap here in norway. (Steingips costs around 240 for 5 kg).

When you drop it on the floor (hard floor) it sounds like you're dropping a piece of metal. If you try to cut the plaster, you have to use a very, very, sharp knife or brute force! Its just amazing how hard this stuff is.

I guess one drawback with this that its a bit hard to work with, I mean if you need to sand down some pieces...

It also seems to me that I have to use more water than specified. The ratio is supposed to be 1 to 4, but I have to use 1 to 3 or something like that, it still get very hard and its easier to use with the molds.

Molds:
I've created several molds now, and all in all I am quite happy with the result. The molds do get a bit soft, but they're still very useable. They tend to get a bit sticky, but doesn't hamper the plaster as long as I use the wet-water method. I think the initial problem I had was that it just needed a bit more curing time.

I also got a tip from the company that I could use M 4642 to create molds. Its a bit harder and sturdier. Haven't tried it yet, and probably won't cause I just bought myself another litre of the wacker 4601...

happy plastering!
