Hello all,

I have two tool boxes with minis I've painted myself and a few that I bought that I really liked. Since I've started picking up the prepainted figs, I have not touched the metals since.

I can paint better than the prepaints, but a good fig takes me about 6 hours. That's not so bad for a PC, but why bother with something like orcs or skeletons that are on the table for what?...2-3 combat ROUNDS???:|

Also, I spend time and money on doing my own painting, and then some some gamer man-handles my fig with his greasy hands? It always made me cringe. What about the gamer who brings their pre-teen to the game and they pick up and.....DROP the figure you spent HOURS on. Oh hell no....>:

With my current gaming group, I just pull out the prepaints. Nobody but me brings figs to the game, and I'm not pulling out the top shelf for those that can't respect the work that goes into the metals.

I seperate the prepaints into two plastic tubs: PC types & Critters. They can pick out a PC and then I can use the rest for encounters. The tubs are easier and lighter to transport.

Another thing I like about the prepaints are the critters that I would not bother painting up a fig for, but I'm glad to have prepainted so I have an actual representation of for the encounter.

The prepaints have made my gaming life easier. I love them!
